Up 17km on a steep and bumpy dirt road from Sandon you'll find Idaho peak, a short hike from the upper parking lot goes to the old forestry fire lookout tower and wide open views of Slocan Lake.
The Arrow Lakes are situated between the Selkirk and Monashee mountains, the length of the lake is 230km. Steep cliffs along the lake are perfect for cliff jumping, and walking the rail trail will lead to beaches and the old train tunnel.
39 Kilometres long and to the east of Valhalla Provincial Park is Slocan lake. Beaches are all along the shoreline and its cool waters are perfect for a summer swim.
