Larch Magic in the Kootenays
Fall is without a doubt my favourite season as a landscape photographer. It’s vividly striking, with dramatic clouds, constantly changing weather, bright colours, and so many diverse conditions. The subjects to photograph are endless, while the time to do so is limited as we shift into the winter season.
Flying High over the Kootenays: Second Edition
At the start of this year I released my first blog post “Flying High above the Kootenays”, which featured a number of aerial images that I’ve captured from the seat of a small plane. It was hard to narrow down the images, and since I’m always eager to share more from above, this second edition came to be.

One of my favourite things about photography has been how many different perspectives you can capture of familiar locations. Whether that is by visiting locations in different seasons, times of day, shooting low, or shooting from up high. I’ve been lucky enough over the years to have gotten up into the air…
